AAP leader Sanjay Singh reaches farmer Gajendra Singh’s home in Rajasthan’s Dausa.Meanwhile, Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi has said that they will also conduct a probe into any laxity shown by the police during the incident. The probe will be conducted by Joint CP, he said.The police has told the DM that he has no jurisdiction to seek report in the matter as this is a criminal case. The report can only be given to a judicial magistrate, the police is reported to have told the New Delhi DM.The Delhi Police has sent another reply to the District Magistrate, New Delhi, who had sought a report from the cops on the probe into farmer Gajendra Singh’s suicide case.Meanwhile, security has been tightened outside Gajendra Singh’s residence in Dausa. Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said that his force is not involved in a fight with anyone. “We are a part of the government,” Bassi said.
NHRC chairman KG Balakrishnan has said that the Commission will meet tomorrow and take a decision on whether to take suo motu cognisance of the farmer suicide case. He informed that they have not received any complaint on the matter so far.
