AAP lists SAD candidates with ‘criminal’ track record, poses five questions to Badals

CHANDIGARH : AAP, Punjab Convener, Gurpreet Singh Waraich while addressing a media here today spelled out the details of Badals’ dus numbaris on whom they have reposed their faith to make Punjab a better place.
This list is an indication that the Akali leadership, neck deep in corruption and illegal drugs trade, are themselves the kingpins of the syndicate with interest in every illegal trade in the state. Here are some of the names that SAD has show cased in the first list:

1.Bikram Majithia:
·Infamous drug lord, named by international drug peddler Jagdish Bhola in his confessional statement. Majithia controls 6000 crore drug syndicate operating in Punjab. As per Punjab Police records and Enforcement Directorate information, Majithia’s drug-ring also caters to the demand of narcotic drugs not only in Punjab, Himachal, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangaluru but also in countries like Australia, US, Canada, Colombia and Brazil.
·Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal’s brother in law Majithia also controls liquor mafia in the state and his handpicked cronies who enjoy police patronage and informal monopoly in Punjab.
·Majithia is also the most influential land grabber in the state facing several cases of land grabbing and encroachment including the case of Khalsa Heritage College, Amritsar.
2.Virsa Singh Valtoha:
·Bikram Majithia’s right hand Valtoha runs a regime of terror in the Majha Border belt. Using Badal’s police, Valtoha has turned Akali Government into Parcha Sarkar. False cases are registered across Punjab against Badal’s opponents and businessmen, who resist Valtoha’s extortion bids. Valtoha is also infamous for tossing Pagris of Sikh MLAs in Assembly and hurling abuses on Dalit MLAs in Punjab Assembly. Punjab’s former DGP named Valtoha as a key person in Bikram Majithia’s drug racket.
3.Tota Singh
·Badals’ cabinet minister Tota Singh is a convict in a corruption case. He was imprisoned for a year. He also amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. Tota Singh was booked and prosecuted for his disproportionate assets. During his current tenure, Tota Singh facilitated sale of spurious pesticides and seeds to thousands of Punjab farmers, leading to failure of crops and farmers suicides. He is responsible for pushing thousands of Punjab farmers into distress and at verge of suicide.
4.Barjinder Singh Makkhan Brar
·Tota Singh’s son is involved in a sexual assault on minor girls. Makhan runs a sex syndicates that traffics, abuses, rapes minor girls, blackmails them and pushes them into flesh trade. He runs this flesh trade racket in connivance of senior police officers of the state. Makkhan also honey trapped several businessmen and blackmailed them. Makhan is facing a CBI probe in the case.
5.Sikandar Singh Maluka
·Badal’s cabinet minister Maluka is Sukhbir Badal’s henchman in the heartland of Malwa region. The then Education Minister Maluka did a multi-crore books and science equipments purchase scam. The books and equipments were purchased from a firm dealing in pipes. He compromised Punjab’s future for money.
6.Ajit Singh Kohar
· Badal’s transport minister is a drug dealer. He was named by none other than the former Director General of Police. Despite the Director General of Police himself claiming concrete evidence against Kohar in drug peddling, Badals and Majithia protected and no action was ever taken against Kohar. Tainted Kohar remains Badal’s minister and also figures in the first list of candidates announced by the Akalis.
7.Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon
·Sukhbir Badal’s brother in law (Jija) Adesh Pratap is the mastermind of the Rs 12000 crore food grain scam detected by the Reserve Bank of India under Raghuram Rajan. Raghuram Rajan had detected that food grains worth more than Rs. 12000 crore were found to be missing from Punjab warehouses. It is suspected that these food grains were sold in grey market. He is also the mastermind of multi-core gunny bags purchase scam.
8.Gulzar Singh Ranike
·Badal’s cabinet minister Ranike was involved in many multi crore scams during the SAD-BJP alliance government’s tenure including border area development fund scam, shagun scam and also usurped scholarships of the SC/ ST students. Due to which Ranike had to even step down from the cabinet post. However Badal soon brought him back into the cabinet not bothering to get a free and fair inquiry conducted by a credible state agency.
9.Sohan Singh Thandal
·Thandal was sentenced to 3 years rigorous imprisonment in a corruption and disproportionate assets case. The Judge also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000 on Thandal for amassing assets and wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. Thandal was arrested and later released on bail.
10. Nirmal Singh Kahlon
Former Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker and cabinet minister in the Badal’s government was involved in selling more than 900 government jobs in lieu of hefty sums of money. Kahlon was also involved in multi crore JCB machine scam and was booked by Punjab vigilance bureau when he was the cabinet minister in the Badal government.

AAP POSES FIVE QUESTIONS TO BADALS ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF PUNJAB
1.Is the top criterion to select a candidate is to be a key member of the syndicate drug cartel being run by Bikram Majithia.
2.Does the Badal family wants to project scamsters, fraudsters, musclemen, goondas as the faces of the Shiormani Akali Dal in the upcoming assembly polls.
3.Do these people represent the model of governance of the SAD government in last 10 years of Punjab.
4.Do the Badals believe that Punjab & Punjabis deserved to be ruled by these criminals and scamsters.
5.Do the Badals believe that these people can bring about the change that the SAD is promising in the upcoming polls.
