Job Title : Accountant
Salary : $68,000 plus 9.50% superannuation

Company: Sydney Bearings & Transmission Supplies Pty Ltd
We are an established company dealing with industrial products and chemicals like bearings
and transmission supplies. We sell the products to industries like mining, manufacturing,
material handling, metal recycling, automotive and engineering.
We are a supplier of wide range and categories of bearings for industrial, commercial and
domestic applications. We also have two fully stocked locations, servicing Sydney's
industrial West and North West as well as two daily deliveries to both regions.
We are looking for Accountant who effectively and efficiently manages our day-to- day
accounts and financial aspects.
The applicant must have knowledge and expertise in month end procedures and also handle
full function payables and receivables. The applicant should also work on general ledger
reconciliation. Be responsible to prepare profits and loss statements for the company.
Besides this he/she will also have to take care of timely Business Activity Statements
lodgement and work on issues related to fixed asset register, FBT and GST. It will be the
duty of accountant to prepare business plans, cash flow forecasts and profit projections.
The candidate must also be responsible for Accounting Software Selection and training
junior staff with regards to – Bookkeeping, Invoicing, Payroll etc. Also take in charge of tax &
business registrations including ABN, TFN, GST, Work Cover etc. Accountant must prepare
distributable income calculations, withholding tax and BAS. Also prepare monthly payroll tax
and quarterly/annual BAS. Analyse the financial risks involved when investing in capital
projects and advice organisation appropriately after making genuine investigations and
reports. Responsible to make sure that correct information is provided in the financial
statements and reports complies with Government regulations. Compiling and presenting
reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements to senior
management or business representatives.
Performing various accounting duties and preparing financial reports is another important
duty. The applicant will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, client reporting
The right candidate will be awarded rightly: $68,000 annually plus 9.50% of superannuation.
Other employment entitlements will be as per NES standard and as per Fair Work
Instrument as prescribed by the Australian Government. Australian citizens and permanent
residents are preferred
At least bachelor degree in accounting or 5 years relevant experience is required for a
candidate to be eligible for this position.
