Aditi makes cut after spirited Round 2

Ann Arbor (US) : Aditi Ashok had an eventful Round 2 with no less than six birdies and four bogeys as she shot a two-under 70 to make the cut at the LPGA Volvik Championship here. At 3-under, Aditi is tied-44th at the halfway mark, having climbed from overnight tied-56th.  Aditi, who shot a 71 in the first round, made good use of the better conditions on Day 2. She found 11 fairways, made 14 greens in regulations. Aditi had a bogey-bogey start but she quickly recovered and found her rhythm with four birdies in the next six holes. On the back nine, she bogeyed the 10th and 12th but birdied the 14th and 18th. The 19-year-old birdied all four par-5s. At the top, Sung Hyun Park carded a 7-under 65 to take a two-stroke lead into the weekend. Park sits at 12-under, with Suzann Pettersen and Minjee Lee tied for the second place at 10-under.
