Akhilesh Yadav won’t be sacked, will continue as CM, says Mulayam Singh Yadav

Lucknow : Mulayam Singh Yadav to hold key meet with Samajwadi Party leaders, Akhilesh Yadav likely to be sacked. The rift in the Yadav family is seen to have got murkier after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav sacked his uncle and state party Chief Shivpal Yadav. Akhilesh also sacked four other ministers who were supporters of his father and Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. This is the worst kind of crisis the party is facing since its formation. Mulayam Singh Yadav is scheduled to hold a meeting of party MPs, MLAs, MLCs and party senior leaders to discuss the future course of action and is expected to take tough decision. Akhilesh and Mulayam Singh sacked each other’s loyalists Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav on Sunday.
Earlier this morning, Akhilesh Yadav said in his address to party workers that if Netaji had asked for his resignation, he would have given it. SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said, “We have worked really hard to form this party, sad to see this rift. “Instead of fighting our weaknesses, we are fighting among ourselves,” says Mulayam said during his address to party workers and supporters in Lucknow.
