Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s Weight Down to 40 kgs

LUDHIANA : Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh “Gogi”, son of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa has stated that his father’s weight has fallen down to 40 kgs. Bhai Gogi stated that since Bapu Ji has resumed the intake of water, he is feeling better than he was at the hospital, however the overall condition is worsening day by day.“Bapu Ji might be physically weak, but mentally he is steadfast and adamant on his demand for the release of Sikh political prisoners,” said Bhai Gogi. Gogi said that his father is surviving solely on lime water, without any added nutrients.Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi said that the police continues to bar Sikh sangat from visiting Bapu Surat Singh. “Only those who are willing to reason with the police are allowed to come to Hassanpur, rest are turned back,” he added.“Over 1,000 policemen were deployed outside Hassanpur during the recently held bhog of Akhand Path Sahib at the Hassanpur Gurdwara,” he informed.Bapu Ji’s medical report from July 2015 shows that he has lost 30-35 kgs.
