Bhattal demands to remove toll plaza from Anandpur Sahib, Naina Devi roads

ROPAR: Rajinder Kaur Bhattal former PPCC President today demanded from SAD-BJP government to frame toll plaza policy and stop taking arbitrary decision to put toll fee on roads.
Addressing media persons here Mrs.Bhattal demanded to immediately remove toll plazas on roads leading to holy city of Sri Anandpur Sahib and Temple Mata Naina Devi near Anandpur Sahib. She said that devotees visiting these palces were charged high toll fee. She said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal shall ensure a rational policy for toll roads. “There is no toll plaza in home constituences of Badal and his daughter-in-law and union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
Bhattal said that SAD-BJP government was in very bad financial health and it has taken over draft 138 times in a year. She said that taxes were being increased and government is indulging in wasteful expenditure.
In reply toa question she said that the differences between senior Punjab Congress leaders were not very serious and all groups would come on one platform with the visit of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi to Punjab. She said that minor difference of opinion prevails in all parties.
