Drug worth Rs.110 crore smuggled from Pakistan seized on Punjab border

AMRITSAR: In a joint operation of Indian Customs and BSF 22 kilogram of heroin (drug) having worth Rs. 110 crore as per the international black market, smuggled from Pakistan to India has been seized here today.Confirming the seizure BSF official said that during the intervening night of September 17 and 18 there were some suspicious moments were observed at international border with Pakistan. Today in the morning when comprehensive search Operation was launched jointly by BSF and Custom, whereupon succeeded to recover 22 kilogram of heroin.At the same time it was clarified that no arrest has been made in this regard so far.
