Inderpreet, a former vice-president of the CKD Charitable Society, asked his driver Raj Kumar to take him to a clinic on Ajnala road. On reaching there, he found the doctor absent. He returned to his Toyota Fortuner. Minutes later, he shot himself in the head. He was taken to a nearby hospital by his driver where doctors declared him “brought dead.”The deceased’s father was booked by the local police on charges of outraging the modesty of a principal of a school run by the CKD Charitable Society after a ‘sleaze’ video went viral on the social media. Inderpreet was charged with criminal intimidation after the principal complained she had been threatened by him over the phone. Granted interim bail by a local court, Inderpreet was asked to join police investigations. He had appeared before a police team on Tuesday which questioned him about the whereabouts of his father wanted in the sexual harassment case.
