High Court issues notice in Moga bus molestation case

Chandigarh, May 7: (Punjab Update Bureau)-Taking suo motto notice, the Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice to the Punjab government and the Orbit Aviation for next Friday on May 15.
The High Court has sought details of the buses run by the government and private buses plying in the state along with their ownership pattern. Orbit Aviation has been impleaded as a party in tis case. The high court has also sought detail of the action taken against the staff of the Orbit bus involved in this case.
It may be mentioned that young Arshdeep was molested and pushed out of a speeding Orbit bus by its staff in Moga district last week followed by her mother. Arshdeep died on the spot. Orbit Aviation is owned by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.
