Kejriwal: Time to root out Badals, Capt

Amritsar : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal today reiterated his allegation against Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh and Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal of looting the state. He was speaking at an ‘Inquilab Rally’ here. AAP Punjab affairs incharge Sanjay Singh, co-incharge Jarnail Singh and senior leader HS Phoolka were present.
“The Badals have realised they would lose the elections. So, to enjoy immunity for their nefarious designs, they (Akalis) want Amarinder to take over. The two looted the state in the past decade and a half. Now, the time is ripe to root them out of the state,” the Delhi Chief Minister said.
Kejriwal again dared Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia to put him in jail in two months. “Or else, I will put him behind the bars for unleashing narco-terrorism in the state.”
He is facing defamation charges levelled by Majithia in an Amritsar court.
Spelling out AAP’s “blueprint for Punjab”, he promised to make the state free of drugs and corruption, launch a plan to waive farmer loans and put culprits of sacrilege incidents behind the bars. The party’s agenda, the AAP convener said, would be to snap the supply chain of drugs in Punjab followed by rehabilitating the addicted youth. “We plan to open rehabilitation centres on a war footing in six months. To place them in the mainstream, we will provide them with jobs.”
