Pakistan ceasefire violation: BSF jawan wounded in third incident by Pakistan Rangers today

Jammu : Pakistan’s third ceasefire violation in less than 24 hours has left a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan injured. The betrayal of the ceasefire comes from the Pakistan Rangers on the International Border in Jammu Kashmir’s Kathua district today. The Pakistan Rangers opened fire at Krishnagiri sector, Poonch district a couple of times at night. Automatic weapons were used to fire bullets at the BSF posts while rocket-propelled grenades were also launched towards posts in Poonch but the Indians forces did not take the bait to break ceasefire but stayed alert in case it was a smokescreen to distract the focus from suspicious movements at the border. There was an attempt made by militants to infiltrate the border but the terrorists were thwarted were completing their mission by the Indian Army at Kupwara district. Three militants were killed in their botched effort to cross over to India while a search is on to look for further attempts at crossing the border by Pakistani militants.
