Parkash Singh Badal never looked beyond ‘personal interests’: Amarinder Singh

Adampur (Jalandhar), Jul 16: Senior Congress leader Amarinder Singh today attacked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal saying the latter didn’t “bother” about “problems” in the state as he never looked beyond his “personal interests”. ”Badal has never ever bothered about Punjab problems as he could never look beyond his personal interests,” Congress Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha said here. Singh also claimed that there was never so much “anger” against anyone as the one currently prevailing against the “Badal family” across the state. “I have never seen so much anger against anyone as the one prevailing against the Badal family currently all over Punjab and very soon people will start running after them and they will find it difficult to hide themselves,” he said. While addressing a public meeting here, the former Chief Minister said, the Badals were themselves to be blamed as they had never thought beyond their family. ”What he has been interested in his robbing and looting the state and creating his own wealth”, he said, while adding, “now his aim appeared to be construct five and seven star hotels in India and abroad which cost over Rs 1000 crores”.
