Pastor’s murder:Kin block highway, SIT constituted

Ludhiana : Demanding the arrest of the culprits who shot pastor Sultan Masih outside a local church last night, his relatives, accompanied by hundreds of members of the Christian community, today blocked the Ludhiana-Jalandhar NH-1.
The blockade lasted for over three hours. It was lifted after the police assured the protesters that the culprits would be nabbed soon. Police Commissioner RN Dhoke said they had formed a SIT, headed by DCP (Crime) Gaganajit Singh and comprising ADCP RS Brar, ACP (Crime) Maninder Bedi and SHO Salem Tabri Amandeep Brar.
