Peer Mohammed Distances; Bhai Bittu Offers Support to Sarbat Khalsa

CHANDIGARH : While Karnail Singh Peer Mohammed has taken a u-turn and stepped back from Sarbat Khalsa, in a significant development, Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu (Shiromani Akali Dal Panch Pardhani) and Bhai Kanwarpal Singh (Dal Khalsa) have announced to support the initiative. Both groups are new to offer support to Sarbat Khalsa. They had earlier met with S. Simranjit Singh Mann and announced to offer conditional support based on some resolutions.
While Karnail Singh Peer Mohammed’s move has been termed as politically motivated, the decision by Panch Pardhani and Dal Khalsa to support Sarbat Khalsa has been rejoiced by the Sikh Sangat worldwide. Some Sikh organizations were forced into taking a back seat due to involvement by Karnail Singh Peer Mohammed.
Sikh24 has also learned that Bhai Bittu was persuaded by the international Sikh Sangat to attend the Sarbat Khalsa. Today, a critical meeting is scheduled to take place in Chandigarh, where Panthik organizations will deliberate on their support for Sarbat Khalsa.
