Mumbai : Superstar Salman Khan was in for yet another controversy, if reports are to be believed. Fresh from the success of Sultan and launching tennis star Sania Mirza’s book in Mumbai, the actor was on his way to Delhi, when he had to miss his flight. Apparently, Salman reached the Mumbai airport 15-20 minutes late for his Delhi flight. As a result, he was not allowed to board the plane, as per normal airline rules. ABP reports that Salman clashed with the staff of Vistara Airlines by which he was flying. He requested them to adjust and let him board the flight, but to no avail. The superstar had to cool his heels at the Mumbai airport, waiting to board the next flight to Delhi.Apparently, the airline run by the Tatas did not care about the superstar status of its late customer and refused to let him board the flight. Well, rules are rules and they need to be followed. But sometimes airlines can be a little lenient, no? Unless, of course, the plane is already ready for take off.
