Punjab and Haryana HC questions Punjab govt on orbit bus issue

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana high court today questioned the Punjab government on various aspects of the case relating to death of Arshdeep who was pushed out from the Orbit bus whose shareholders include Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. Orbit company today filed iincomplete affidavit in the High Court.
The High court said that detail in the affidavit filed by Orbit Aviatyion company was not complete and has asked them to file all details by tomorrow. The HC questioned Punjab Government on the compensation and job offerred to victim’s family. The bench asked Punjab as to how much compensation had been given to the family of the victim and under what scheme. Similarly, under what rules announcement had been made by the government to provide job to a member of the victim’s family. The High Cour also asked the state to the job and compensation is offerred by state of the Orbit.
