Punjab Governor leads the volunteers in serving ‘Parshad’ and ‘Sweetened Water’

CHANDIGARH : As part of the observance of martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji, who sacrificed his life for preserving values of humanism and secularism, the employees of Punjab Raj Bhavan led by the Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki served the ‘Chhabeel’ of sweetened water and ‘parshad’ to the passers by outside the main gate of Punjab Raj Bhavan, here today.
Rajbachan Sandhu, ADC-P, J.P. Dahia, ADC to Governor Haryana, Sq. Ldr Mayanak Bakshi, ADC-M, J.S. Sidhu, SP (Security), Naginder Singh, Joint Director Press and staff served the Chhabeel and Prasad. The enthusiastic volunteers served Chhabeel and prashad to the people for the whole day.
Besides, Charanjit Singh, President, Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, Kamaljit Singh Punchhi, Adviser, Anil Vohra, General Secretary, Pradip Malhotra, Finance Secretary,Rajan Mahajan, Joint Secretary and Ravinder Pal Singh all from Chandigarh Beopar Mandal also served Prashad and Chhabeel to the sangat.
