Sachin Tendulkar tweets special message for World Environment Day 2015

Delhi : World Environment Day 2015 is being celebrated on June 5 and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar tweeted a special video message for it on June 4. “Tomorrow is World Environment Day…” the cricketer said and shared a video in which he encouraged people to plant a sapling. Just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a sapling at his official residence in New Delhi today, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Ajinkya Rahane (it’s also his birthday today) and Rohit Sharma will also take part in the exercise at Mumbai’s famous Joggers Park on Carter Road, Bandra. Also present will be Vinod Tawde, Maharashtra Minister for Primary, Higher and Technical and Medical Education and Culture, and Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change.
