SAD and INLD playing fixed match on SYL Canal, says Haryana BJP

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that the digging of Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal by some opposition parties is only a gimmick, but their aim is to get photographed.
Vij, who was interacting with mediapersons here today, said that the Akalis in Punjab and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Haryana being the two sides of the same coin, they were playing a fixed match. While the INLD is doing drama, it is already decided that who would use the spade, who would hit with a stick, who would apply red colour and who would take the photograph.
He said, “We want INLD to keep digging till Haryana gets water”. If INLD succeeds in bringing water through the SYL canal, he would himself go to them and garland them. He said that it was only because of these opposition parties that Haryana was still deprived of water which was to be brought through the SYL canal. When they were in power, they could not make any such effort which could bring water to the state. He said that it was due to the efforts of the present State Government that the Supreme Court gave decision in favour of the state, but the opposition was just trying to find only political milage out of it.
