Sanjay dares Majithia to arrest him but will not stop calling him a drug lord

Chandigarh : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Spokesperson and In-Charge Punjab Party affairs, Sanjay Singh on Monday dared Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia to arrest him but he would never stop calling him a drug lord. Sanjay said the defamation case Majithia had filed against him in Ludhiana court may take some time before it came to a final conclusion.“However I challenge Majithia to file a FIR against me and get me arrested by the police which is at the command of his brother in law and Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal and send me to jail. Otherwise once AAP comes to power in 2017 we will surely put Majithia and all others behind the bars who are associated with the drug trade that has virtually ruined the state of Punjab”, said Sanjay Singh. Sanjay dubbed Majithia a coward just as the Badal led Punjab government. Instead of filing a defamation case, Majithia could have lodged an FIR against him at any police station of Punjab using his influence and got him easily arrested. Sanjay appeared before the court in Ludhiana today in connection with a defamation suit filed by Majithia for calling him a ‘drug lord’. However, the court has granted him bail on the condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs 50,000. The next hearing of the case is scheduled for February 20. Bikramjit Singh Majithia did not come to the court today. Sanjay was accompanied by several top leaders of the party to the court. Sanjay Singh said no summon from the court was served to him and he came to know about the hearing through newspapers and appeared in the court as a symbol of respect to the judicial system.Sanjay said he held judiciary in high esteem and had all the respect for the court.Sanjay said prior to him dismissed Punjab DSP & a drug lord Jagdish Singh Bhola had openly disclosed that Majithia was involved in the multi crore drug racket in front of the entire media when he was produced in the Mohali court on January 6 in 2014. Bhola had made the aforesaid revelation about Majithia during the police interrogation. Bhola also said his interrogation was immediately stopped when the police got a call from Majithia. Later in December the Enforcement Directorate (ED had summoned Majithia twice at Jalandhar for questioning him in connection with the multi crore drug trade.
