Melbourne : For the first time in the history of indoor game, a cricket team from an English village in Kent were bowled out for nought in the grand final.Bapchild Cricket Club consisting of Josh Hunt, Dan Pomfrett, James Sutton, Chris Hogg, Owen Harrison and James Weller from failed to score a single run in the match against Christ Church University.Christ Church bowler Fraser McWhinnie bagged three wickets from two overs while Philip Semmens also claimed three wickets in 1.2 overs.Reflecting on the Bapchild’s shocking collapse, Christ Church spinner Mike Rose said that it was unbelievable to dismiss the team for zero, News.com.au reported.Christ Church side won the match by 120 runs after opting to bat first.Earlier in 1913, Somerset outfit Huish and Langport CC failed to score a single run in an 11-man side outdoor game against Glastonbury.In first-class cricket, the Bs posted the lowest score of six runs against England at the old Lord’s ground in 1810.
