Sikh groups converge at Beas bridge to challenge Shiv Sena

Beas (Amritsar) : Provoked by the announcement earlier made by some Hindu extremist groups to take out Lalkar rally to Amritsar, several Sikh organisations gathered at the Beas bridge here.It may be mentioned that these Hindu organisations had earlier announced their decision to backtrack.
However, about a dozen member of Shiv Sena who tried to take out the march in Amritsar were arrested by the police.
