Sikh Leaders Meet Bhai Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh After Their Release

FARIDKOT, Punjab—Following the release of Bhai Rupinder Singh and his brother Bhai Jaswinder Singh, Sikh leaders and sangat have continued to visit them. Bhai Rupinder Singh and his brother were arrested by the police and the Bargari beadbi case was fabricated upon them. Earlier today, Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale visited the village Panjgrain Khurd to meet with the brothers. He inquired about their health and wished for speedy recovery.Both brothers explained the harsh treatment they were given by the police. They explained how they were tortured and also electrocuted by the police as they tried to have them agree to the charges.
Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa, in a video message, later explained the torture and difficulties the brothers have faced whilst in police custody. He said that due to the unity within the Panth, the Government had no option, but to release the brothers.
