SP feud: Amar Singh reacts to Akhilesh Yadav’s victory, says I’m neither ‘khalnayak’, nor ‘Shakuni’

New Delhi, Jan 17 : Expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh reacted to the victory of Akhilesh Yadav in the internal feud of Samajwadi Party. Amar Singh rejected the charges made against him by a section of SP leadership, saying that he had no role in the conflict between Akhilesh and his father Mulayam.
“Those against me can say whatever they want. They can label me ‘khalnayak’ and ‘shakuni’. But I am neither,” Amar Singh said, further adding, “Mulayam ji has never considered me a khalnayak.”
“I have been expelled from the party and I accept it. I am out of the conflict, that’s why I am here in London,” he said.
On being asked about Akhilesh’s victory at the Election Commission, Amar Singh said, “Who won and who lost is sadly decided on basis of success.” The Mulayam-Shivpal camp have reiterated charges of arrogance against Akhilesh, who enjoys the support of 95 per cent of party volunteers and delegates.
