Sukhbir Badal condoles the demise of veteran journalist P.D. Mohindra

Chandigarh May 10 : Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow on the sad demise of veteran journalist Mr. P.D. Mohindra, who died after a massive heart attack. Mr. Mohindra (85) was former special correspondent of The Tribune.
Recalling the outstanding journalistic services rendered by Mohindra during his long professional career Deputy CM described him as a fearless and upright journalist who discharged his duties with utmost dedication, sincerity and professional commitment to pursue the ultimate goal of freedom of the press in true spirit. Mr Badal said political analysis of Mr Mohindra always fascinated the readers as well as public.
Expressing his condolences with the bereaved family, Mr. Badal prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and bestow strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. The creation of Mr. P.D. Mohindra would take place on Sunday, May 10 at 10:30 am at sector 25 Chandigarh.
