Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma romance in players area attracts BCCI ‘unofficial notice’

Mumbai :  Virat Kohli would be on a high after his team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made to the playoffs of IPL 2015 after three years. But his joy came along with an ‘unofficial warning’ from the board for his conduct during RCB’s last league match against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday. Well, the Indian batting machine did not cross lines on the field with profane language for a change but his lovey-dovey act with his actress girlfriend Anushka Sharma in the match drew ire of the BCCI officials. Anushka Sharma, like a dutiful better half, accompanied his beau in his last league match of IPL 8 and was seen cheering as well. But her appearance during the rain break with Virat Kohli during live match sent the nation in a tizzy again. It was not something unexpected that the powerful star couple’s appearance would become a hot topic on social media but BCCI did not seem to like their on-air romance.According to an India Today report, Virat Kohli was ‘informally warned’ for breaching the rules as the anti-corruption and security unit (ACSU) doesn’t permit players to meet girlfriends and wives while a game is on. ”We shouldn’t blow the thing out of proportion but I have spoken to him and told him he shouldn’t speak to anyone when technically the match is still on,” IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla told India Today.
