Chandigarh- It dates back to the era of India-Pakistan partition when the politics that followed, had an impact on people from both sides of the border. Mudh Baseba agreement was a part of that politics. Punjabi film “Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya” is based on the true story of a family that was torn apart by this agreement. The promo of the film looks very promising.Friday was the day for the film’s music release which indeed is the USP of the film and an important part of the subject’s treatment. A press conference was held at Hotel Shivalikview, Sector-17 where lead actors Kartar Cheema, Amann Grewal and none other than Japtej Singh, the young Milkha of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag were present. This presentation of Ram Avtar Art Films has been produced by Ram Sidhu. The story, screenplay and direction have been done by Avtar Singh who has previously worked as the production head for Bollywood super hit Barfi! with director Anurag Basu. Avtar Singh told that Anurag Basu has actually mentored him for this project and he is sure that this will make an emotional connect with the audience. Producer Ram Sidhu said that the music of the film will surely carry our audience to that era and the melody will make them feel the pain of each character of the story.
