Behbal Kalan: UAD shows video clip of ‘police action’

Bathinda : The United Akali Dal today produced some video clips of police action on Sikh protesters at Behbal Kalan in October 2015. Addressing the media, Gurdeep Singh Brar, secretary general, alleged that the police had claimed that firing was started by an activist, but the video clearly showed that the Sikh sangat was protesting peacefully when the police attacked them. After that, the police arrested 100 activists and took them to Jaito police station, he alleged. They also alleged that the police set on fire their vehicles themselves. “We have many clues regarding the incident, which we will present to the Chief Minister and Justice Ranjeet Singh who is probing the incident. We will also send the video and an affidavit to the CM,” he added.
