Bid to attack Sikh preacher Panthpreet Singh in Italy

PADUA, Italy : News of bid to attack Sikh preacher Bhai Panthpreet Singh in Italy has come to fore today. It is learnt that Sikh preacher Bhai Panthpreet Singh’s opponents tried to attack him in a Gurdwara Sahib in Padua city situated on Milan-Venus national highway in Italy. This is not the first time Bhai Panthpreet Singh has faced opposition in Italy. He had to face similar protests last year in July when he was on tour of the country. In July 2016, Sikh sangat held a Q/A session with Bhai Panthpreet Singh, however he refused to answer questions in regards to his anti-Panthik statements. Sangat in Italy asked parcharak Panthpreet Singh to discuss his past statements against the power of sarovars, against the power of matha tekna in front of Guru Granth Sahib, and against Dasam bani and about his closeness with the likes of Inder Ghagga and Darshan Ragi. It is pertinent to note here that Bhai Panthpreet Singh is strongly opposed to followers of the Damdami Taksal. Prima facie reveals the similar situation behind bid to attack Bhai Panthpreet Singh but the exact reason is yet to be confirmed.
