Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund ruins Bayern Munich’s treble party

German : Over the last few years, only one man has ever been of any inconvenience to Bayern Munich – Jurgen Klopp. The manager who’s leaving Dortmund at the end of the season had one last laugh when his Dortmund beat Munich in the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) semi-final to advance to the finals. This ruined Bayern Munich’s chance of winning the treble and means that Klopp will have one last laugh.Dortmund have been far below their usual standards this season, although losing their best players to Bayern and other European giants have hardly helped their cause. On the other hand, Bayern Munich, the newly-crowned champions of Germany dominated the first half and Robert Lewandowski (a former Dortmund player) scored in the 29th minute. Dortmund countered in the second attacking hard and got their breakthrough when Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan picked up a Blaszczykowski pass and set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to tap-in at the far post. In extra-time Dortmund kept on attacking and were the better side despite picking up a red card.
