MS SANAM WAS PILLAR OF STRENGTH OF GEN HARBAKSH: CAPT AMARINDER

CHANDIGARH, July 10: Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Ms Sanam Harbaksh Singh, the wife of legendry general, Lt Gen Harbaksh Singh.In a condolence message, Capt Amarinder said, he had over fifty years of association with the family and had known Ms Harbaksh very closely. He said, she was a courageous lady who always supported General Harbaksh Singh as a strong pillar of support and strength.
The former Chief Minister said, she was a great lady with affable manners whose absence will always be felt. He said, the late General Harbaksh always cherished her courage and support to him during the difficult times like war.
“As I bid the final adieu to the late lady, I will always cherish my memories associated with the family”, he remarked, while recalling, how she was not only a pillar of support to the late General, but to others like the officers and soldiers participating in the war.
