Mutilated body of baby cow, found near the Durgiana Temple

AMRITSAR : Various Hindu outfits in the city came out on roads with protest when they allegedly found headless body of baby cow here yesterday just few yards away from Durgiana Temple.
On being contacted DCP Punjab Police Mr. Parmapal said that mutilated body of baby cow found, probably attacked by some big animal who attempted to smash it and at the same time it would be wrong to say that someone has mischievously beheaded the animal.
DCP said that FIR has been lodged under section 429 IPC and the sent the body of dead animal for autopsy to find out the truth. The preliminary reports indicated that there was no sharp cut on the neck of animal which further indicated that it might have been attacked by some big animal.
