Moga molestation case is cruel reminder of Patiala and Amritsar incidents
CHANDIGARH: People’s memory is very short. Today Moga is in national lime light for all wrong reasons, yesterday it was Patgiala and Amritsar. Nothing has changed in the last two years except the victims of crime.
Nation is crying foul over the death of 13 year old dalit girl Arshdeep Kaur who was pushed out from Orbit Bus owned by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and for another gang rape of minor girl by 12 persons very next day. The Moga incident involving molestation of girl has strong political connection and pressure is being built on poor parents of victim to compromise.
The Moga incident has reminded the horror stories of Patiala and Amritsar in which ruling party leaders were closely linked.
