Sikh Bodies to Hold Sarbat Khalsa on November 10

LUDHIANA : In a meeting of Sikh bodies held in Ludhiana to chalk out future course of action against Jathedars’ move of pardoning Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the participating bodies unanimously resolved to call Sarbat Khalsa on November 10. Bapu Surat Singh Ji Khalsa has also expressed consent with the call of Sarbat Khalsa. Addressing the gathering of meeting, S. Gurdeep Singh Bathinda suggested the participants to specify day for Sarbat Khalsa.
President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) S. Simranjit Singh Mann specified November 10 for Sarbat Khalsa. He termed the five Takht Jathedars as ‘Dhirmalliye’ and Panthik traitors. He also announced that the sangat should socially boycott Jathedars.Condemning the move of five Takht Jathedars, Bibi Pritam Kaur Khalsa said that Sarbat Khalsa is the need of hour. She said that Takht Jathedars couldn’t be forgiven for their sin of pardoning Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Appealing to Sikh masses to get ready for a Sarbat Khalsa, Giani Balwant Singh Nandgarh said that time has come now to reinstate the Sovereignty of Sri Akal Takht Sahib by ousting Badal’s marionettes.Conveying the message of Bapu Surat Singh Ji Khalsa, his son Bhai Ravinderjit Singh Gogy stated that Bapu Ji fully supports the call for Sarbat Khalsa.
