New Delhi : After his remarkable stint as Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly has been much sought after amongst fans as Team India’s coach. Ganguly has been a delight with his quick wit, penchant for numbers and his insight on the game from the commentary box too. With a new set of members in place in Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), there is a lot of talk about changes taking place from the top.In a report published in IBNLive, there are talks that new chief Jagmohan Dalmiya is keen on working with a group of members who aren’t pro-N Srinivasan. The India Cements owner and Indian cricket strongman has his fair share of enemies and in this propensity, Shastri is very much seen as a staunch Srinivasan supporter. In all likelihood, Shastri will revert back to his commentary duties. The report also goes on to talk about how the board wants India to improve on their wretched away record. Under Shastri, India went down 0-2 to Australia before the ICC World Cup 2015 in a four-match Test series. This is also seen as a deterrent in pursuing with Shastri, with Dalmiya and co hell bent on improving India’s record away from home.
