Karnal : Two men were injured as three youths opened fire on a murder accused and his brother outside the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge here on Tuesday. Two men–a cop and one Surjeet–were injured in the firing on murder accused Neeraj Punia and brother outside the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Gurvinder Singh Wadhwa.
The police have arrested the trio.Three DSPs, along with a heavy police force, are searching the court complex. According to eyewitnesses, two of the three accused fired two shots inside the court complex and two outside it, when the police were bringing the murder accused to court for the hearing.The CIA police were bringing history sheeter Punia from Kurukshetra.His brother and cop Jitender received bullet injuries.
