4 die, 7 injured as auto-rickshaw collides with canter in Ambala

Ambala, October 3 : Four people died and seven others were injured when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided with a canter on the Ambala-Hisar road here on Tuesday. Of these, 10 people belonged to Kashmir. They had reached Ambala around 4.30 am. According to information, around 5.20 am the victims were on their way from Ambala Cantonment to Nasirpur Bakra mandi in Ambala City. When they reached near Nasirpur village, their auto-rickshaw collided with the canter. The victims were rushed to Civil Hospital, Ambala City, where Wasar Ahmad (58), Asraf (46), Mohommad Awaas (47) and Narudeen Kohli (56) were declared brought dead.
Auto-rickshaw driver Sonu (21) and Manjuru (51) were referred to the PGI in Chandigarh while five other injured were undergoing treatment at the Ambala City hospital.
