Search operation at suspected SP’s house by NIA

AMRITSAR : The heavy sleuth of the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) today dashed here at city based residence of suspected superintendent of Police Salwinder Singh located in the walled city of Amritsar.On being asked the Police Commissioner Amritsar Mr. Jatinder Singh Aulakh, simply said that today NIA team demanded police force to assist them in the local operation and the police force were provided them but NIA didn’t shared anything about their mission with Punjab Police as where they were going. NIA sleuth after having heavy police forced today reached at the residence of suspected SP Salwinder Singh at Chowk Jai Singh inside the walled city where the search operation was carried out. Sources said that NIA team conducted comprehensive search operation as each nook and corner of the house was checked including all the Almirahs and cupboards in the house and nothing was left unchecked.However, NIA team was not sharing anything with the media on the spot with regard to the search operation going on in the city.Three weeks after the terrorist attacked the Pathankot airbase – NIA investigation is in full swing.Presently suspected SP being questioned by the NIA Headquarter at Delhi and on the basis of revelation NIA conducting search operation at different locations belonged to SP Salwinder Singh.Allegedly kidnapped and released by terrorists before the Pathankot terror attack, SP was being questioned for the last more than a week at the NIA headquarters in Delhi.Earlier, the NIA sources had said that several discrepancies have been found in the versions of Singh, his jeweler-friend Rajesh Verma and cook Madan Gopal.
