AMRITSAR : Shriomani Gurdwara Pharbandhak (SGPC) has filed petition in the Supreme court against jokes on Sikhs. SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar confirming the development here today said that SGPC has approached to Supreme court to do the needful to stop jokes on Sikhs since it were hurting the community and intolerable. He said that in a petition, it was stated that many websites and portals circulating vulgar and indecent jokes on Sikhs which were disturbing the psyche of community, hence it should be stopped forthwith.
