Kejriwal lacks courage to announce his CM candidate for Punjab: Majithia

AMRITSAR : Punjab Revenue and Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today challenged the AAP Convener Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to declare his party’s CM candidate for Punjab.Mr. Majithia was interacting with media after distributing development grants worth Rs 1.65 Crore to villages Jaintipur, Adda Jaintipur and Paprpur besides reviewing the ongoing development works.Describing Kejriwal as anti-Punjab leader, Mr. Majithia said that the real face of Kejriwal has been exposed from his stand on SYL issue. He expressed surprise that AAP Convener was busy in dreaming that his party would form government in Punjab but he didn’t has a Punjabi face to declare as his party’s CM candidate nor he has courage to announce the CM Candidate. He said that instead of giving prominence to any of his party leader from state, Kejriwal being a dictator trying his best to impose non-Punjabi leaders on state unit.Mr. Majithia said that Shiromani Akali Dal was working on a mission to ensure oveall development of the state and on the other hand AAP was best for gossips only. He said some of the near and dears of Kejriwal were trying to mislead people of the state to meet their petty interests. He called the people of the state to give befitting reply to any such misleading campaign.On the SYL issue, Mr. Majithia said that 70 percent people of the state were earning their bread and butter from agriculture and state was facing water shortage, thus, state has not a single drop to share with other states. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal was ready to make any sacrifice to safeguard the interests of the state.Addressing a public meeting on this occasion, Mr. Majithia listed a number of initiatives taken by SAD-BJP government to ensure welfare and progress of every section of the society including farmers, workers, Industrialist, businessmen and weaker sections of the society.
