Bir Devinder Singh suspended from Punjab Congress

CHANDIGARH: The conflicgt between PPCC Presicdent Capt Amarinder Singh and former Deputy Speaker Bir Devinder Singh intensified today with PPCC president ordering suspension of of latter from the primary membership of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect.
A committee headed, by Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Ajaib Singh Bhatti and Rana KP Singh as members, has been constituted to look further into the matter. Mr Singh has been asked to reply to the committee by April 7 as why further action should not be taken against him.
