Sidhu’s wife also resigned from CPC post

CHANDIGARH : Navjot Kaur Sidhu wife of Navjot Sinmgh Sidhu has also resigned from his post of Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPC) and primary membership of BJP. Earlier Navjot Singh Sidhu had resigned from his Rajya Sabha seat and quit BJP.The resignation by Sidhu couple is major setback for BJP and SAD and big gain for AAm Aadmi Party (AAP). Sidhu couple is expected to formally join AAP in a day or so. Sidhu is expected to be CM face of AAP in Punjab. Sidhu couple was for long accusing its partner SAD for sidelining them. Even BJP high command ignored the complaints of Sidhu couple.Navjot Kaur Sidhu had openly blamed revenue minister Bikarm Singh Majithia for sidelining the BJP leaders. The resignation by Sidhu couple has came a day after SAD leaders humiliated two Union Ministers of BJP Suresh Prabhu and Vijay Sampla at a function of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.Navjot Kaur Sidhu had announced that they would not contest and neither campaign for SAD if party continues alliance with Akalis. She was bitter critic of Chief Minister for not releasing grants for development projects of her constituency.
