NADA gives clean chit to Narsingh Yadav, clears him for Rio Olympics

New Delhi, August 1 : The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) on Monday exonerates wrestler Narsingh Yadav from doping charges. He can now participate in the Rio Olympics.Narsingh is a victim of sabotage, NADA said after he appeared before a panel of the anti-doping agency. Narsingh, who bagged the Olympic quota with a bronze medal finish in last year’s World Championships, had tested positive for a banned anabolic steroid on both his ‘A’ and ‘B’ samples. The wrestler had cried foul play, claiming that his food had been spiked and had filed an FIR at the Sonepat Police Station against two fellow wrestlers.
