Sukhwant Singh Sarao sworn-in as member PPSC Governor administers oath of office

Chandigarh, June 30 – The Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki today administered the oath of office, secrecy and allegiance to Mr. Sukhwant Singh Sarao as member of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) at a brief ceremony held in Punjab Raj Bhawan.
Stating this, an official spokesperson said that the Punjab Chief Secretary, Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal sought the permission of the Governor to commence the swearing in ceremony.He further said on this occasion Punjab Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal, Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Finance Minister Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Mr. Justice Jasbir Singh (Retd) and family members of Mr. Sukhwant Singh Sarao were also present.Besides others present on the occasion included Sant Balbir Singh Ghunas, Ch. Nand Lal and Parkash Chand Garg (all CPS), Iqbal Singh Jhundha and Gobind Singh Longowal (both MLA), Dr. Jaspal Singh VC Punjabi University, Raj Shekhar Attri District & Sessions Judge Jalandhar, Harmel Singh Tohra ex-Minister, Gurbachan Singh Bacchi, Daljit Singh PCS, Santa Singh Umedpur Chairman PSSSB, Harcharan Singh Bhullar IPS and Harpal Juneja.
