Three teens killed after car smashes into tree at Avonsleigh near Melbourne

Melbourne : Three teenagers have been killed after the car they were travelling in smashed into a tree east of Melbourne.The trio’s car veered off Phillip Road at Avonsleigh, just before 5:30pm, police said.The teenagers, two girls and a young man, died at the scene.A fourth man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.Police are calling for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
