Three Acquitted in Abetment to Suicide Case

Patiala, July 10 (Special Correspondent): A Sessions Court has acquitted three accused in an abetment to suicide case registered at Sadar Police Station, Nabha. Hon’ble Sessions Judge Avtar Singh, while hearing the case State vs. Desh Raj, acquitted Desh Raj, Karnail Kaur and Amarjit Kaur, who were facing charges under Sections 306 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, after accepting the submissions of defence counsel Advocate S.P. Singh Brar Sular. The case arose from FIR No. 99, registered on June 18, 2019, at Sadar Police Station, Nabha.Following the verdict, Advocate S.P. Singh Brar welcomed the judgment, saying his clients had received justice and that the rule of law had prevailed.
