SAD-BJP running a drug mafia government, alleges Shakeel Ahmed

PHAGWARA: All India Congress Committee General Secretary and PPCC Affairs Incharge Shakeel Ahmed while describing the Parkash Singh Badal led SAD-BJP Government as Government of Drugs Mafia under the partnership of both alliance partners.
Talking to selective Journalists at the residence of Former Cabinet Minister Joginder Singh Maan at Phagwara on Sunday evening, He said after exposure of different Akali Ministers now it was the turn of BJP including its State Unit President Kamal Sharma to come under the allegations of patronization of Drugs Mafia. Though He demanded immediate resignation of Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma on moral grounds , but said BJP Leaders from top to bottom never submit their resignations on moral grounds as they have lost moral courage.
Ahmed said that when Rulers become Traders the Public ultimately seemed to be treated as beggars’. He leveled several allegations on Badal family due to alleged involvements in Transport, Hotels, Land and Sand and now Drugs Mafia. When his attention was drawn towards ongoing cold war between Former Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh and PPCC President Partap Singh Bajwa, Ahmed quipped but admitted that there are differences between both leaders on certain issues but claimed that both senior leaders are working for the strengthening of the congress party. He avoided to comment upon the possibility of any change in the leadership of PPCC and said it was party high command to decide..He stressed the need of united congress which he claimed that can be able to uproot the corrupt Badal Government in next assembly elections. He said the people of the state too want to get rid of from the ruling alliance, which has been defamed among the people for misgovern ace. Congress Leaders like Daljit Raju and Munish Bhardwaj were also present.
