‘Northern Goshawk’ (Baj) declared state bird of Punjab

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government has declared ‘BAJ’ ‘Northern Goshawk’, as‘State Bird of Punjab. A notification to this effect was issued by Punjab Government.
This was disclosed by an official spokesman. He said that this is in partial modification of notification issued on 15.03.1989.
