AAP appoints Jassi Jasraj as Vice President of state and General Secretary Campaign Committee

CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday appointed party leader and Punjabi singer Jassi Jasraj as the vice president of state wing and general secretary campaign committee. He is also given the responsibility of spokesperson of party.
Jassi Jasraj contested Parliamentary elections from Bathinda constituency in 2014. Due to some differences with the party he went inactive from the party activities few months back.
On Wednesday, Jassi met Delhi chief minister and AAP National Convener, Arvind Kejriwal at Chandigarh and expressed his desire to work for the party in state again. Welcoming Jassi’s come back in party, Kejriwal said that he was always an asset for the party and his comeback is good news for the party. Menawhile, Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday appointed Jagdev Singh Garcha as the president of pensioner’s cell. Surinder Kaur and Govinder Singh were appointed senior vice presidents of the cell while Atma Singh and Nazar Singh were given the responsibilities of vice president and general secretary respectively. Manjeet Kaur Ghuman and Sukhdev Singh were appointed as secretaries of the wing.
After a detailed meeting with AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal cell’s office bearers said that they are convinced with the plan of pensioner’s welfare drafted by Aam Aadmi Party.
